“When you're doing a bed practice, you have to be very sensitive to the lack of resistance—the body can kind of sink into the mattress, and that can be a real issue.”
—Jivana Heyman
In this short video, Jivana shares some thoughts and tips on practicing in bed, in general, along with tips specific to exploring eagle pose from a bed. In general, a bed practice is more physically gentle and it can be a great way to find ways into an asana practice that's still benefit-based. Eagle pose itself has so many benefits! It can help with balance, range of motion, flexibility, concentration...in this video, Jivana focuses on range of motion and how we can continue to connect with the energy of the pose in a bed yoga practice.
